10th Mining and Learning from Time Series workshop at KDD

UMBC Professor Sanjay Purushotham is one of the organizers of MILETS'24, the 10th Mining and Learning from Time Series workshop. It will be held on August 25, 2024 in conjunction with KDD'24, the 30th ACM SIGKDD Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining. Submitted papers are due by June 14, 2024.

Time series data is ubiquitous across diverse domains, and modern time series pose significant challenges to existing techniques due to their size, complexity, and atypical properties. MILETS'24 will focus on synergizing research in time series analysis and mining, moving from classical methods to LLMs, discussing new and open problems, and emphasizing applications to high-impact domains.

Topics covered include forecasting, pattern mining, multivariate and structured time series, anomaly detection, interpretation, causal inference, fairness, federated learning, hardware acceleration, streaming data, privacy, benchmarking, and applications across various fields.
